Job summary

I D & E Pty Ltd. in Sydney's CBD is seeking a part-time assistant accountant / bookkeeper to support our growing client base with day-to-day bookkeeping, BAS and IAS preparation, payroll processing, and software setup.

You will manage client accounting software, maintain deadlines, and assist with queries. Require MYOB and Xero experience, a Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping, and strong communication skills. Eligible to work in Australia and a driving license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in accounting software and client communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Able to work autonomously as well as in a small team.
• Valid driving license may be required for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly and quarterly IAS and BAS preparations.
• Process client payroll and Superannuation obligations.
• Set up new clients on Xero or MYOB and transition to new software.
• Manage client accounting software and ensure statutory deadlines are met.
• Provide proactive improvements and solutions for best practice.
