Job summary

Helping Hands Woollahra is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to develop leadership, operations, and team management within a supportive environment. This permanent, part-time role offers 30 hours per week with split shifts from 7:00-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, to fit study or family commitments.

You will support a team of Educators, manage rosters, oversee service operations and compliance, and help create engaging child-led programs across STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft.

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
• State working‑with‑children check.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite.
• Build confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration.
• Create engaging, child‑led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
• Develop skills and experience to progress into future management opportunities.
