Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is hiring an Assistant Coordinator at Helping Hands Woollahra in NSW. This permanent, part-time role is 30 hours per week with split shifts, 7:00-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You’ll develop leadership, operations and team management within a supportive environment. The role offers career growth, paid training, and a people-first culture with opportunities to progress and referrals rewards.

Qualifications

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
  • State working-with-children check.
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).

Responsibilities

  • Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite.
  • Build your confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration.
  • Create exciting, child-led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft experiences.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community.
  • Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management opportunities.

Job Description

Join us at Helping Hands Woollahra, as an Assistant Coordinator, ready to build your confidence in leadership, operations, and team management within a supportive environment. This permanent, part-time role offers30 hours per week.You'll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: 7:00-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 3:00-6:00pm (Stay and Play).

About the role

The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team, you'll gain hands-on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community.
