Job summary

Junior Adventures Group at Helping Hands Woollahra is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to develop leadership, operations and team management skills in a supportive environment. This permanent, part-time role offers 30 hours per week with split shifts (7:00-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm) Monday to Friday.

You will gain hands-on leadership experience with regional managers and a dedicated state office team, mentoring Educators onsite, building rosters, ensuring service operations and compliance, and

Qualifications

Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
State working-with-children check
National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)

Responsibilities

Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite
Build your confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration
Create exciting, child-led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft experiences
Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community
Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management opportunities
