Job summary

Helping Hands Woollahra is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to develop leadership, operations, and team management within a supportive environment. This permanent, part-time role offers 30 hours per week with split shifts from 7:00-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, to fit study or family commitments.

You will support a team of Educators, manage rosters, oversee service operations and compliance, and help create engaging child-led programs across STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft.

Qualifications

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
  • State working‑with‑children check.
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite.
  • Build confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration.
  • Create engaging, child‑led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community.

Join us at Helping Hands Woollahra, as an Assistant Coordinator, ready to build your confidence in leadership, operations, and team management within a supportive environment. This permanent, part-time role offers 30 hours per week. You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: 7:00-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 3:00-6:00pm (Stay and Play).

About the role

The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team, you’ll gain hands‑on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community.
