Job summary

The Benevolent Society is seeking dedicated home care support workers to assist older Australians in their homes across the Port Macquarie region. You will provide personal care, daily living support, and tailored care according to each client’s plan, with a focus on respecting independence and quality of life.

These are multiple part-time roles offering 10–20 hours per week, with travel to clients’ homes around Narrabeen Beach, Newport Beach, Freshwater and Manly as needed, and flexible

Qualifications

• Must have a Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related field.
• Must have a current driver’s license and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Experience or ability to use mobility aids/hoisting devices is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and support daily living activities (showering, hygiene, meal prep, cleaning, laundry).
• Deliver care aligned with each client’s Care Plan and document changes in health or behavior.
• Monitor client health, report changes, and work with team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Support transportation needs for shopping, appointments and community activities.
• Travel to clients' homes across service locations as required.
