Job summary

The Benevolent Society is seeking dedicated home care support workers to assist older clients in the community. You will provide in-home personal care and support daily living activities while respecting each client's plan and preferences.

This role involves travel to clients' homes across service locations and requires a compassionate, reliable approach. Flexible rostering and part-time hours apply, with competitive rates and paid travel time.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3, 4 or diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients.
• Flexible in working hours and travel across service locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care: showering, personal hygiene, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry and ironing.
• Deliver care aligned with each client's Care Plan.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour.
• Work as part of a team to deliver a positive client experience.
• Support transportation needs and accompany clients to appointments and shopping.
