Job summary

The Benevolent Society is hiring multiple part-time home care support workers to assist older clients in the Sydney area. You will provide in-home personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry, guided by each client's Care Plan.

Travel to clients' homes across Narrabeen Beach, Newport Beach, Freshwater, and Manly is required. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential, with flexible rosters to suit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a current driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to clients' homes within the service locations.
• Certificate 3/4 or Diploma in Aged Care or related field.
• Experience with mobility aids/hoisting devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care, assisting with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, and laundry & ironing.
• Deliver personalised care aligned with each client's Care Plan.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's health or behaviour.
• Working as a team to create a positive experience for our clients.
• Provide support with transportation needs, helping with shopping trips and appointments, to empower active community participation.
