Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Services Bronte is hiring a Cook to join our compassionate team in a dementia-aware, hospital-style kitchen environment. You will prepare meals, follow care plans, and ensure dietary requirements are met for our residents.

The role is permanent and part-time with shifts across mornings and daytimes, in a supportive, community-focused facility that values empathy and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Commercial cooking (preferred) and current Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience with volume cooking in hotels, healthcare or similar environments.
• Knowledge of aged care nutrition and special diets is advantageous.
• Compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for residents in a care setting.
• Follow individual care plans and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Support efficient kitchen operations and dining services.
