Job summary

St Vincent's Care Services Bronte is seeking a Cook to join our compassionate team, delivering nourishing meals for residents in a boutique aged-care setting. Trade qualification in Commercial cooking is preferred, with a current Food Handler Certificate, and experience in volume cooking for healthcare or similar environments.

You will support dietary needs, follow care plans, maintain high food-safety standards, and contribute to a warm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Commercial cooking (preferred).
• Current Food Handler Certificate.
• Proven experience with volume cooking in healthcare or similar settings.
• Flexibility to produce special dietary requirements and health-related diets.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Understanding of aged care resident rights and responsibilities.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within 6 months).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required.
