Can Assist in Sydney is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and year-end processes.

You will prepare journals, reconciliations, month-end closes, and management reports; work with MYOB and Xero; four days per week.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience using MYOB and Xero.
• Strong reconciliations, journals and month-end reporting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong communication, organisation and time management.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and process journals, accruals, prepayments and GL adjustments.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management reports and cash flow forecasting.
• Process weekly accounts payable transactions and supplier invoices.
• Raise customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable follow-up.
• Perform bank and investment reconciliations and resolve items.
• Assist with annual trial balance and supporting schedules.
• Use and assist with MYOB and Xero accounting systems.
