City of Moreton Bay is seeking a hands-on Labourer to support the Parks Infrastructure team in Margate. You will perform general labouring duties to maintain parks and assets, under a Crew Leader, and engage with stakeholders as needed.
Ideal candidates have recent manual labour experience, a current MR licence and a Construction Induction Card, with strong teamwork and safety focus. A 12% superannuation top-up applies, with a 9-day fortnight schedule.
Work within our Parks Infrastructure team and help maintain the community's park infrastructure. Alongside an experienced Crew Leader, you'll support the upkeep of Council's recreational assets. Your primary responsibility will be undertaking general labouring duties to help ensure your designated park areas and infrastructure assets remain safe, functional and well presented.

This hands on position offers a variety of work and the opportunity to see the results of your efforts across community parks and recreational assets. You'll be engaging with stakeholders from other teams within Council and even members of the public at times - so effective communication and a positive attitude towards teamwork is a must!
