Join our Parks and Open Spaces team as a Trainee – Horticulture and gain practical workplace experience while completing a Certificate II in Horticulture.
Working alongside experienced team members, you'll learn how to care for and maintain Council's parks, gardens and public spaces. You'll develop practical skills in areas such as planting, gardening, mowing, pruning, weed management, using horticultural tools and equipment, and working safely outdoors.
No previous experience is required. This is a great opportunity for a recent Year 10, 11 or 12 school leaver who enjoys being outdoors, likes working with their hands and is interested in starting a career in horticulture.
