Job summary

Solutions+ is offering a Parks and Gardens/Hort Trade Apprenticeship in Campbelltown, NSW. The role involves hands-on work maintaining commercial gardens and learning planting, pruning, mulching, irrigation and drainage across sites.

You will gain on-the-job experience while completing a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens, with weekly pay and industry training commitments. Driver license and checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience maintaining commercial gardens and landscaped sites.
• Work alongside experienced horticulture and landscape professionals.
• Learn planting, pruning, mulching, weeding and general garden care techniques.
• Assist with turf, irrigation and drainage maintenance across commercial sites.
• Develop strong plant identification and plant care knowledge.
• Learn to safely use horticultural tools, equipment and machinery.
• Develop practical skills in soil preparation, garden establishment and maintenance.
• Learn safe and responsible herbicide and pesticide application practices.
• Build knowledge of workplace safety, site standards and professional horticultural practices.
