Job summary

Solutions+ is seeking a hands-on horticulture maintenance worker to join our team in Sydney. You will mow, edge and maintain lawns, turf areas and open green spaces, with duties including weeding, mulching and pruning to keep sites neat and healthy.

Role offers weekly pay and potential progression to a full-time position. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport to site. National Police Check and Working With Children Check are required.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge and maintain lawns, turf areas and open green spaces.
• Weed, mulch and maintain garden beds and planting zones.
• Prune shrubs, hedges and small trees to keep a neat appearance.
• Operate mowers, brush cutters, blowers, edgers and other gardening equipment safely.
• Assist with seasonal planting, garden upgrades and site improvements.
• Apply fertilisers and approved weed and pest control treatments as required.
• Monitor turf and landscapes and report maintenance issues.
• Remove waste and debris while keeping work areas clean.

Salary and perks: $32.00 - $35 per hour + Super (level based)

About the Contract:

• Monday to Friday work with 8-10 hour shifts available.
• Mow, edge and maintain lawns, turf areas and open green spaces.
• Weed, mulch and maintain garden beds, landscaped areas and planting zones.
• Prune shrubs, hedges and small trees to maintain a neat, healthy appearance.
• Operate mowers, brush cutters, blowers, edgers and other gardening equipment safely.
• Assist with seasonal planting, garden upgrades and general site improvement works.
• Apply fertilisers and approved weed and pest control treatments as required.
• Monitor turf, gardens and landscaped areas, reporting maintenance issues as they arise.
• Remove green waste, leaves, clippings and debris while keeping work areas clean and tidy.
• General grounds & Hort maintenance across sites, following safety and quality standards.
