Job summary

Solutions+ is offering a Parks & Gardens/Horticultural Apprenticeship in New South Wales, Sydney. You will gain hands-on experience maintaining commercial gardens, parks, and landscaped areas while learning on the job and pursuing a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens.

Eligible applicants should have a driver’s licence and transport, plus National Police Check and Working with Children Check (if over 18). Weekly pay and various role benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience maintaining commercial gardens, parks and landscaped areas.
• Work alongside experienced horticulture and landscape professionals while learning on the job.
• Learn planting, pruning, mulching, garden maintenance and weed control techniques.
• Assist with turf care, irrigation, drainage and general landscape maintenance works.
• Develop your knowledge of plant identification, soil preparation and ongoing plant care.
• Learn to safely use horticultural tools, equipment and machinery across a range of sites.
• Develop safe and responsible practices for fertiliser, herbicide and pest control applications.
• Complete a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens while building your skills and earning on the job.
