Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking a Parking Ranger to ensure parking regulations are followed and to assist residents and visitors with guidance. This permanent full-time role works 38 hours per week on a rotating roster with a day off every fortnight and some Saturday overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor parking compliance in designated areas and enforce local laws.
• Issue infringement notices when appropriate and document evidence.
• Engage with the community, answer questions and provide guidance on parking rules.
• Maintain records and evidence of actions taken.
• Respond to community complaints by inspecting reported activities and recording outcomes.

Salary $72,964.74 - $84,638.44 p/a + super

Permanent full-time role, 38 hours per week on a rotating basis with a rostered day off per fortnight.

Saturday Overtime available on rotational basis.

Duties

• Monitoring parking compliance in designated areas, ensuring local laws and regulations are followed
• Issuing infringement notices when appropriate, following clear guidelines and maintaining professionalism
• Engaging with the community, answering questions, providing assistance, and helping to educate the public on parking rules
• Maintaining appropriate records and documenting evidence
• Responding to community complaints by inspecting reported activities and accurately recording outcomes

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• High School Certificate or equivalent
• NSW Drivers Licence Class C or equivalent
• Current SafeWork NSW White card (or eligible to independently obtain)
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
