Hobsons Bay City Council in Melbourne invites applications for a permanent, full-time Parking and Local Laws Officer. You will conduct patrols, investigations and infringement actions, and educate residents and businesses to promote voluntary compliance across outdoor and office environments.

Progress in regulatory and enforcement activities, with evidence gathering, reporting and stakeholder engagement. A Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent is preferred, with a focus on

Responsabilidades

• Conduct parking patrols, inspections and investigations and issue infringements where required.
• Investigate local law matters including abandoned vehicles, illegal dumping and amenity issues.
• Educate and engage with residents, businesses and visitors to promote voluntary compliance.
• Gather evidence and maintain accurate records, case notes and compliance documentation.
• Contribute to community safety and public amenity through regulatory services and enforcement activities.

The opportunity

As a Parking and Local LawsOfficer, you'll play an important role in supporting a safe,accessible and welcoming community. Working across both outdoor andoffice environments, you'll investigate parking and local lawmatters, educate residents and businesses, and help resolvecompliance issues through a balanced approach of customer service,education and enforcement. What you’d do

What you need to succeed
