Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts’ Victor Harbor Holiday Park is recruiting a hands-on Park Manager to lead operations across front office, housekeeping, grounds and maintenance on-site along South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula.

You will drive guest experiences, coach a high-performing team, manage budgets, forecasting and safety compliance, and partner with local stakeholders to grow the park’s performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as park or resort manager or senior hospitality leader.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Proven capability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong focus on health, safety, risk management and compliance.
• Hands-on, adaptable leadership with willingness to support the team.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of Victor Harbor Holiday Park, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, a well-presented park, and a high-performing team. As a hands‑on leader, you'll work across all areas of the operation, from front office and housekeeping to grounds and maintenance, stepping in wherever support is needed. For the right candidate, complimentary on-site accommodation is available.

We're looking for an energetic and commercially minded leader who is passionate about tourism, people, and creating memorable holiday experiences. With a strong foundation already in place, you'll bring fresh ideas, a focus on continuous improvement, and the drive to take this much‑loved park to the next level. Your ability to lead a close‑knit team, build a positive culture, and thrive in a community‑focused environment will be key to your success.

You will also:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of one of South Australia's premier holiday parks, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint.
• Inspire, coach and develop a high-performing team while fostering a positive culture focused on service excellence.
• Drive commercial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, revenue management and cost control.
• Oversee park presentation, asset management and preventative maintenance programs to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and guest‑ready.
• Manage capital improvement projects and operational initiatives that enhance both guest satisfaction and business performance.
• Monitor key business metrics and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial outcomes.
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and compliance are maintained across all areas of the park.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and training to build a capable and engaged team.
• Provide hands‑on operational support during peak periods while maintaining high standards across the park.
• Build strong relationships with guests, team members and local stakeholders while proudly representing the NRMA Parks & Resorts brand.

What you will bring:

• Proven success as a Park Manager, Assistant Park Manager, Resort Manager, or senior hospitality, tourism or accommodation leader.
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, and driving profitable business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a positive, engaged team culture.
• Confidence managing workplace health and safety, risk management, compliance, and operational standards.
• A hands‑and‑adaptable leadership style, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team wherever needed.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, team members, suppliers, and the local community.
• A proactive mindset with the energy, creativity and drive to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities while remaining operationally focused.
• Resilience and accountability, with a track record of delivering results in dynamic and seasonal operating environments.
