Job summary

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is seeking enthusiastic Camp Ground Support Officers for Royal National Park, with multiple casual roles. You will welcome visitors, collect fees, issue passes, promote activities and ensure campgrounds are welcoming and safe.

You’ll assist with facilities upkeep, reservations, and general park operations, making every guest experience memorable. The role emphasizes customer service, accurate fee handling, and promoting conservation and heritage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer focused work environment.
• Willingness to undertake minor campground facilities cleaning and maintenance.
• Ability to operate reservations system technology and other corporate systems.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process and reconcile camping fees, passes and money received.
• Welcome and provide information to campers and park visitors.
• Collect visitor statistics and undertake revenue analysis.
• Perform park patrol duties and issue passes when required.
• Promote activities and the National Parks Annual Pass.
• Oversee campground cleanliness and arrange repairs as needed.
• Support environment conservation values and heritage awareness.
• Operate the Digital Reservation System and related systems.
