Workskil Australia invites applications for a full-time Parent Mentor to support the Parent Pathways Program at the Craigieburn site in Melbourne. The role focuses on person-centred case management, addressing both vocational and personal needs to help parents return to work or education.

You will work with diverse families, writing resumes and referrals, and coordinating with employers and community services to create pathways to sustainable employment. This is a full-time ongoing position.

Qualificações

• Experience writing resumes, cover letters, assessments, referrals and case notes.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse range of parents, employers and service providers.
• Knowledge of Labour Market information and job search supports.
• Commitment to inclusive, safe services for families and children.

Responsabilidades

• Provide person-centred case management for eligible parents with young children.
• Address vocational and non-vocational needs of parents while supporting career goals.
• Refer and connect parents to internal and external services as required.
• Engage with community organisations to build opportunities for clients.
• Provide a welcoming, respectful, and child-friendly service to maintain engagement.
• Demonstrate an empathetic approach to families to foster trust and positive outcomes.
