Engage Personnel seeks an experienced paralegal specialising in personal injury, based in Parramatta with hybrid work options.

You will lead a paralegal team, oversee workloads and ensure high client service levels, while working with solicitors and senior leadership to drive performance and development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a paralegal in personal injury law.
• Experience mentoring or leading paralegals.
• Strong understanding of personal injury claims, workers compensation, CTP, work injury damages, and public liability.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Interest in developing people and improving processes.

My client is a growing, specialist personal injury law firm based in Parramatta, known for its client-first approach, strong team culture and commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes.

With a focus on workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, work injury damages, public liability and TPD claims, the firm combines specialist legal expertise with a practical, people-focused approach.

The opportunity

This is an ideal role for an experienced personal injury paralegal who is ready to move beyond managing their own files and step into a leadership position.

You will play a key role in supporting the performance and development of the paralegal team, ensuring matters progress efficiently, workflows are well managed and clients receive the level of service the firm is known for.

Working closely with the firm's legal leadership, you will have the opportunity to influence processes, develop people and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor a team of paralegals, fostering a positive, accountable and high-performing environment.

About you

• Demonstrated experience working as a paralegal within personal injury law.
• Previous experience mentoring, supervising or leading other paralegals, or clear readiness to take the next step into leadership.
• A sound understanding of personal injury claims and the associated legal processes, ideally across workers compensation, CTP, work injury damages, public liability or TPD.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across a team.
• A genuine interest in developing people, improving processes and contributing to a positive team culture.
• A client-focused mindset, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
