Job summary

A growing specialist personal injury law firm in Parramatta seeks an experienced paralegal ready to move into a leadership role. You will lead, mentor and develop a team of paralegals, ensuring workflows run smoothly and clients receive exceptional service.

Working with the firm's legal leadership, you will shape processes, oversee workloads, and contribute to the growth of the practice in a collaborative, high-performance environment with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated paralegal experience in personal injury law.
• Experience mentoring, supervising or leading paralegals or readiness for leadership.
• Understanding of personal injury claims and related processes (workers comp, CTP, public liability, TPD).
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Attention to detail, sound judgement and proactive problem-solving.
• Clear communication and ability to build relationships.
• Genuine interest in developing people, improving processes and team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor a team of paralegals, fostering a high-performing environment.
• Oversee workloads, file allocation and workflow management to ensure timely progress.
• Monitor file quality, compliance, documentation and matter progression.
• Support onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members.
• Collaborate with solicitors and leadership to maintain high client service standards.
• Foster ownership, continuous improvement and shared success.
