Job summary

Job Q in Tasmania is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead education in the Palliative Care Unit. The role involves delivering targeted educational programs, mentoring nursing staff, and partnering with the Nursing Unit Manager to build a cohesive, person-centred care team.

The successful candidate will have AHPRA registration, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and a postgraduate palliative care qualification or active pursuit of one.

Qualifications

Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and evaluate education programs.
Ability to provide clinical leadership and act as a resource/mentoring for nursing staff.

Responsibilities

Deliver educational programs in the Palliative Care Unit.
Evaluate and report outcomes of education initiatives to Nurse Unit Manager.
Collaborate with HammondCare Health Education Lead and clinical managers.
Lead quality improvement initiatives related to clinical education.
