Job summary

Fix Auto Brisbane is seeking an experienced Automotive Refinisher to plan refinishing requirements, prepare panels, and apply primers and topcoats to OEM specifications. The role emphasizes accuracy in colour matching, quality finishing, and adherence to safety standards.

You will work closely with the body repair team to ensure smooth production and timely vehicle throughput, while delivering high-quality results and maintaining workshop facilities and PPE.

Qualifications

• Automotive refinishing trade qualification is required.
• 3+ years of automotive refinishing or collision repair experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of paint application techniques, colour matching and refinishing processes.
• Experience working with modern paint systems and manufacturer procedures.
• Ability to work independently and keep to production timelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety requirements.
• Pride in workmanship and accountability for quality.
