The role requires 5 years of automotive trade experience and certificates in Automotive Refinishing Technology or Automotive Body Repair Technology.

Qualifications

• 5 years of automotive trade experience required.
• Either Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately match colours and achieve seamless paint blends.
• Carry out repairs to industry and manufacturers standards with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Salary: $90 000 - $110 000 – based on experience

The Role

We are seeking a trade qualified Automotive Spray Painter with experience completing the full refinishing process, from vehicle preparation and paint application through to final assembly and finishing.

The role involves working on a diverse range of vehicles being repaired as part of insurance claims resulting from collision and accident damage. You will work closely with the repair team to deliver high-quality refinishing work, ensuring every vehicle is restored to an exceptional standard, meets insurer requirements, and exceeds customer expectations.

What you'll bring

• 5 years of automotive trade experience is required
• Either Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology (or equivalent trade qualification) OR Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (or equivalent trade qualification) is essential
• Demonstrated ability to accurately match colours and achieve seamless paint blends
• Carry out repairs to industry and manufacturers standards
