Job summary

Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships in Mackay offers a paid 12-month full-time traineeship in General Administration while you gain a national Certificate III in Business (BSB30120).

You will be hosted with RoadTek, gaining mentoring and a fast-paced environment, with course fees paid and a clear pathway to industry opportunities. Applicants should reside locally and have a Can Do attitude.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license and reliable transport essential.
• Construction White Card (can be completed online before commencing).
• Experience in administration and multitasking.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Experience in Excel, Word, Outlook and data entry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and project costing support.
• Prepare and process employee timesheets.
• Utilise Excel, Word and costing programs.
• Liaise with internal/external clients for quotes/prices.
• Maintain liaison for external civil works enquiries with customers.
• Provide customer service including phone and visitor reception.
• General administration duties including filing, archiving, mail; stock maintenance.
• Accounts payable data entry and reconciliation.
• Payroll data entry into SAP.
• Assist in project costing data entry into SAP.
• Support from Project Manager or Financial Co-ordinator as needed.
