Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships in Mackay is offering a 12-month full-time paid competency-based traineeship in General Administration, with a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business. The program hosts with RoadTek, delivering mentoring and hands-on experience within civil construction projects across Queensland.

Applicants should have strong communication, be able to multitask, and demonstrate proficiency in Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• Driver's license and reliable transport essential.
• Construction White Card (can be completed online before commencing).
• Experience in an administration role multitasking.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and project costing support.
• Prepare and process employee timesheets.
• Utilise Excel, Word and costing programs.
• Liaise with internal and external clients for quotes/prices.
• Maintain liaison for external civil works enquiries with customers.
• Customer service including phone, visitors and deliveries.
• General administration: filing, archiving, mail, stationery.
• Accounts payable: data entry and reconciling.
• Payroll: data entry into SAP.
• Assist in project costing: data entry into SAP.
• Other duties as advised by Project Manager or Financial Co-ordinator.
