Job summary

Western Health in Victoria is seeking a Paediatric Speech Pathologist for a 0.6FTE part-time role split across Melton Community Health Services and the Child and Family Wellbeing Local (CFWL).

You will deliver assessments, short-term interventions, care coordination and family-centred care for infants, children and young people with communication, developmental and feeding needs, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based speech pathology assessments and interventions for children with communication, developmental and feeding needs.
  • Provide developmental assessments, short-term intervention and care coordination within the Child and Family Wellbeing Local.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, multidisciplinary teams and community partners to develop recommendations and care plans.
  • Maintain high-quality clinical documentation, reporting and data management.
  • Contribute to service improvement, professional development and quality and safety initiatives.
