Job summary

SA Health in Bedford Park, SA, is seeking a Speech Pathologist (Paediatrics) to deliver specialist assessment and intervention for paediatric patients across a diverse clinical caseload. Reporting to the Senior Speech Pathologist, the role involves assessment, therapy, consultancy, education, and staff supervision within FMC’s W&C Allied Health team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology or eligible for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
• Acute hospital experience.
• Experience with videofluoroscopic swallowing studies (VFSS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for paediatric inpatients and outpatients.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to discharge planning and patient management.
• Supervise students and contribute to staff education.
• Support service improvements and evaluate therapy outcomes.
