Job summary

Western Health in Melbourne's west is seeking an experienced Grade 1 Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention for children with communication and swallowing needs within a supported paediatric team.

You will manage a varied caseload with clinical autonomy, backed by supervision and development opportunities, in a permanent, ongoing full-time role at Melton and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech Pathologist eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, with post-graduate experience ideally in paediatrics.
• Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based assessment and intervention.
• Commitment to family-centred practice and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessment and intervention for children's communication and swallowing needs.
• Manage a varied paediatric caseload with growing independence and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver services for children and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and prepare clear reports to support care and service delivery.
• Contribute to supervision, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
