Cabrini Health in Melbourne\'s southeast invites an experienced Speech Pathologist to join the Malvern team in a permanent full-time role. You will deliver high-quality assessment and management of adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting, applying evidence-based practice across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Membership/eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia.
• Post-graduate experience in the acute healthcare setting (min 2 years).
• Experience in assessment and management of adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Ability to consult and collaborate with others within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and management of adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an acute hospital setting.
• Maintains current knowledge of research, developments and evidence-based practice in the discipline.
• Compliance with triage policy in response to referrals.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development discussions.
• Involved in student education and staff supervision.
