Job summary

Mediix is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join the Darwin paediatric team on a permanent basis. The role offers a varied caseload across early language, literacy, articulation, social communication, AAC and feeding in a supportive setting.

Sessions include clinic-based work, school visits, in-home therapy and telehealth, with full admin support, structured supervision and a clear clinical career pathway. Relocation support is available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Speech Pathologist.
• Australian work rights (migration pathways available).
• Genuine interest in paediatric work and family-centred practice.
• Ochre Card NT Working with Vulnerable People clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Open to working with families from diverse backgrounds in the Territory.

Responsibilities

• Paediatric caseload spanning early language, school-age communication, literacy, articulation, social communication, AAC and feeding.
• Clinic-based sessions, school visits, in-home therapy and telehealth.
• Structured supervision for new grads and early-career clinicians; ongoing supervision for experienced SPs.
• Full admin, scheduling and billing support so the clinician stays clinical.
• Established relationships with paediatricians, OTs, psychologists and schools for cross-referral and joint care.
• Modern rooms, sensory-friendly setup, and a well-stocked resource library.
