Job summary

AIM Therapy for Children is a dynamic paediatric allied health practice operating across multiple settings. We seek a paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Balcatta clinic and support children to gain skills, confidence and independence in collaboration with families and schools.

You will work within a supportive team including OT, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Positive Behaviour Support, with opportunities to grow professionally and contribute to kid-centered

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• A valid Working With Children Check is required.
• National Police Clearance is preferred.
• Current driver’s licence is recommended.
• Strong communication with kids and families is essential.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial appointments and build relationships with new families.
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions in clinics, homes or schools.
• Collaborate with schools, families and stakeholders for a coordinated approach.
• Monitor progress and plan next steps toward goals.
• Participate in a professional development program to grow skills.

What the Role Looks Like Day-to-Day

• Completing initial appointments and getting to know new families
• Running fun, creative therapy sessions in our vibrant clinic spaces and out in the community
• Working closely with schools, families and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach for the children we support.
• Reviewing therapy journeys and planning next steps as children reach goals or transition on.
• Being part of a strong professional development program with plenty of opportunities to grow
