Job summary

Sydney Children's Hospital Network, Randwick, is seeking an experienced Acute Pain Service Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to lead paediatric pain management and clinical care. The CNS2 role operates within the Registered Nurse/Midwife scope, providing advanced skills and professional judgement to children and families.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse/Midwife with advanced paediatric pain expertise.
• Experience in paediatric acute pain services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist pain management and clinical care to paediatric patients and families.

• Provide senior nursing clinical leadership in developing specialist practice and service delivery.
• Exercise extended autonomy of decision making while collaborating with managers and senior clinicians.
