Job summary

The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network is seeking a CNS 2 Afterhours Clinical Development Nurse (AHCDN) for a 0.5 FTE job share at Randwick. You will support paediatric care, contribute to staff education, and work with the Nursing Education team to develop clinical practice.

Applicants should have current AHPRA registration, post-registration qualifications, and a track record in advanced paediatric nursing. The role offers professional development in a collaborative, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Relevant post-registration qualifications.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical practice in the specialty area.
• Strong written and verbal communication; autonomous and team player.

Responsibilities

• Exercise extended autonomy of decision making.
• Provide complex care requiring advanced clinical skills.
• Lead in development of nursing specialty clinical practice and service delivery.
• Undertake primary case management within inpatient and community-based services.
