NSW Health's Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, is inviting applications for the Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 – Afterhours Clinical Development Nurse (AHCDN). This temporary part-time role covers a 19-hour week with a rotating roster, including 1300-2130 weekdays and some weekend shifts.

The position supports education, clinical development and leadership within paediatric care. Successful applicants will demonstrate advanced paediatric nursing practice, AHPRA registration, and strong

Formación

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Evidence of advanced clinical practice in paediatrics.

Responsabilidades

• Provides senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.
• Exercises extended autonomy of decision making and professional judgement in complex care.
• Leads nursing specialty practice development and primary case management across inpatient and community services.
• Mentors staff within the specialty and contributes to staff development.
• Collaborates with the Nurse Education Manager, Nurse Manager of Staffing and Nursing Education team.
