Job summary

Casella Family Brands in NSW is seeking casual Packaging Line Operators to join a state-of-the-art production facility. You will operate equipment per SOPs, perform quality checks and maintain adequate dry goods levels to keep lines running smoothly.

Applicants must have good organisational skills, clear communication, and strong attention to detail. A forklift licence and prior packaging line experience are desirable. Pre-employment medicals including drug and alcohol tests apply.

Qualifications

• Good organisational and planning ability.
• Effective communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Previous packaging line experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operation of equipment in accordance with SOP's
• Conduct quality control activities to ensure that the product meets specification
• Check, monitor and fill equipment to ensure that required levels of dry goods are available to run machines at all times
• Monitor machine operation and report issues
• Ensure all paperwork is completed in accordance with requirements
• Rotation between the positions on the line
