Good People HR Pty Ltd. is seeking a Line Leader for the Packing Department in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing setting.

This day shift role (6am–2pm) in the South Eastern Suburbs near Clayton requires leading a team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient production in the Packaging Department. The successful candidate will drive training, mentoring, and performance, maintaining a clean workspace, coordinating material flow to and from warehousing, and upholding GMP and OH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
• A relevant degree such as Engineering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Supervisor, manage all aspects of production in the Packaging Department, using dedicated resources such as key people, equipment and materials to meet or exceed the production plan as efficiently as possible, with minimal wastage of resources
• Support the Supervisor by supervising and training staff
• Be actively involved in the development of staff to create a cohesive and highly skilled team through effective training, mentoring, coaching and communication
• Take responsibility for yours and the team's safety and ensure that all products adhere to required quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organised area and contribute suggestions for improvement
• Coordinate timely and accurate delivery and return of packaging materials between packaging and the warehouse
