Job summary

Casella Family Brands is seeking a fulltime Packaging Design Assistant to join our Yenda team. The ideal candidate will bring strong design mindset and attention to detail to support packaging artwork, approvals, and production readiness.

The role involves coordinating artwork setups with suppliers and customers, maintaining version control, and liaising with Production, Brand, Marketing and Sales teams to meet packaging requirements for new products.

Qualifications

• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrated organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle numerous situations at once.
• Desirable: Experience with computer design software.
• Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packaging materials are set up and compliant for approved markets and ready for production.
• Coordinate artwork setups and approvals with suppliers and customers.
• Maintain accurate version control of all artwork files and packaging specifications.
• Coordinate trials of new packaging items.
• Source and manage artwork for industry standard packaging materials.
• Liaise with Production teams to ensure packaging materials meet production capabilities.
• Liaise with Brand, Marketing & Sales teams regarding packaging requirements for new products.
• Periodically review market mandatories and update artwork and packaging requirements as necessary.
• Coordinate obtaining and maintain approvals and registrations.

We are looking for a fulltime Packaging Design Assistant to join our Yenda team. The ideal addition to our Compliance and Scheduling team will be a passionate and driven individual with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities will include:
