Job summary

LexisNexis is recruiting a Cases Lead – Pacific to oversee case law editorial delivery across Pacific jurisdictions. You will ensure quality, timeliness, and AI readiness while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and driving workflow improvements.

The role focuses on transforming legal content into structured, searchable material aligned with GenAI capabilities, requiring strong legal analysis and cross-team collaboration across AU/NZ markets.

Qualifications

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification required.
• Experience in legal practice, publishing, research, or editorial operations is preferred.
• Exposure to AI-assisted workflows is advantageous.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Understanding of AU/NZ case law developments and legal systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of case law editorial work across Pacific jurisdictions.
• Monitor editorial performance metrics, service levels, quality indicators, and timelines.
• Ensure editorial quality and compliance with LexisNexis standards.
• Act as regional focal point for case law operations.
• Manage relationships with courts, reporters, vendors, licensors, and providers.
• Lead projects, workflow improvements, and regional initiatives.
• Drive AI-enabled editorial practices and pilot new tech.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Data Science, Editorial, and Commercial teams.
