Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Bid Management Coordinator - Pacific to drive the coordination and submission of strategic tender responses across the Pacific region. You will orchestrate end-to-end bid activities with sales, operations, engineering, legal, finance, procurement and risk, ensuring compliant, high-quality submissions on time.

This role requires 5+ years’ bid coordination experience in relevant industries, a proactive approach, and strong governance for bid processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bid coordination or tender management experience.
• Experience in built environment, engineering, construction, infrastructure or data centres.
• Knowledge of tender documentation, compliance requirements and approvals processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex tender and bid submissions across the Pacific region.
• Develop bid plans, timelines, action trackers and responsibility matrices.
• Manage tender compliance requirements, returnable schedules and submission governance.
• Facilitate bid kick-off meetings, progress reviews and executive approval reviews.
• Coordinate contributions from cross-functional SMEs and stakeholders.
• Ensure submissions are compliant, professionally presented and delivered on time.
• Drive bid governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support sales process optimisation, bid/no-bid decisions and tender readiness.
• Provide regular reporting on bid status, risks, milestones and resource requirements.
• Support customer clarification responses and handover of awarded projects to delivery teams.
