Job summary

Discover Nursing Australia is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker for 1:1 night shift support in Chatswood, NSW. The role involves complex care needs and ongoing collaboration with a nurse-led team to ensure safety and comfort during the night.

Night shifts run from 5:45 pm to 6:30 am, with a contractor rate of 40–50 AUD per hour. Prior experience with PEG feeding, suctioning, respiratory support or seizure management is highly regarded, and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Experience in disability, healthcare or complex-care is desirable.
• Ability to follow detailed care and emergency plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 high-intensity support during night shifts.
• Assist with PEG feeding and enteral nutrition as per plan.
• Monitor seizures, suctioning, respiratory support, and general wellbeing.
