Job summary

TeamKids is seeking casual OSHC Educators to support before and after school care across Fernvale, Hatton Vale and Laidley. You’ll join a passionate team delivering engaging activities for children aged 5–12 in a supportive setting.

Ideal candidates have experience with children and strong communication skills. Flexible shifts, discounted care for your own children, and opportunities for development are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in education or sport is preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with children and families.
• Collaborative team member with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in morning before care and afternoon after care sessions.
• Engage children aged 5–12 with safe, fun activities.
• Support a team to deliver high-quality OSHC programs.

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Fernvale, Hatton Vale and Laidley

Shifts available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working with children, whether in an education or sporting field.
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Ideally has an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications (Includes education, sports and recreation, allied health and more)
