Job summary

Ideal candidates have a White Card, a current driver’s licence, RIW competencies, and civil/rail experience. Desirable qualifications include HR licence and track certifications.

- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required
- Safe working qualifications relevant to the role
- Civil, rail or plant experience
- Rail Industry Worker (RIW) competencies
- HR Licence (desirable)
- Aluminothermic welding qualifications (desirable)
- Track Certifications (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintainers are responsible for hands-on maintenance and upkeep of ARTC’s rail network, including preventative and reactive maintenance and supporting minor construction works.
- Perform general labouring, track maintenance, safety protection duties, inspections of rail infrastructure, operation of heavy machinery, welding, and other specialised maintenance activities while complying with safety standards.
