Job summary

AGL in Traralgon VIC is seeking a Production Support Operator to join Loy Yang’s PSG team. This hands-on role operates mobile plant and support electricity generation across Loy Yang A and B, outdoors, with a strong focus on safety and reliable coal supply.

You’ll bring a trade or technical background, a Victorian driver's licence, and experience with heavy industrial plant. Welding qualifications are a plus; you’ll work as part of a high-performance team with clear safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical background; welding qualifications are beneficial.
• Experience operating heavy industrial plant.
• Unrestricted Victorian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work outdoors in a heavy industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant and infrastructure to ensure safe coal supply.
• Perform plant isolations, conveyor relocations and dust suppression.
• Operate dozers and loaders; install and maintain pipe work.
• Support rail work, cleaning and plant inspections with safety focus.
