Job summary

AGL Loy Yang in Traralgon VIC is looking for entry level engineers across Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical and Civil disciplines. You will work with experienced engineers and operators to understand how assets are designed, operated and maintained to meet future energy needs.

You will receive mentoring, a structured development program and on-the-job learning, with pathways toward Chartered Engineer status. On-site roles at Loy Yang offer exposure to a large power station and mine.

Qualifications

  • Graduated within the last 3 years or due to graduate prior to commencement.
  • Disciplines include Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical and Civil Engineering.
  • Must be able to work on-site at AGL Loy Yang in Traralgon.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia and own car with licence.

Responsibilities

  • Operating within engineering teams and performing tasks relevant to AGL Loy Yang.
  • Asset management, maintenance and optimisation of plant, systems and equipment.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of engineering strategies.
  • Projects and program support.
  • Design, development, testing, and optimisation activities.
  • Investigations and analysis, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare factual and technical reports.

About the role

AGL Loy Yang is now accepting applications for Entry Level Engineers across Electrical, Mechanical and Civil disciplines.

You will have an amazing opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, technical specialists, and operational leaders, while developing a well-rounded understanding of how AGL’s assets are designed, operated, maintained, and transformed to meet future energy demands.

About You

You must have graduated within the last 3 years or be due to graduate prior to commencement.
