Job summary

AGL is seeking a Production Support Operator to join the Loy Yang PSG team in Victoria. You will work on-site at the Loy Yang Mine, operating mobile plant and infrastructure to ensure a safe coal supply to Loy Yang A and B power stations.

You will be hands-on, outdoors, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a high-performance environment. A trade or technical background and a valid Victorian driver's licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical background and hands-on mechanical aptitude are essential.
• Commitment to safe operations within a heavy industrial environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and follow training manuals, policies and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant and infrastructure to ensure the safe supply of coal at Loy Yang Mine.
• Perform plant isolations and conveyor system relocations as required.
• Support dust suppression, operation of dozers and loaders, and pipe work installation/maintenance.
• Carry out rail work, housekeeping, plant inspections, and maintain safety and efficiency goals.
