Job summary

Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a Plant Operator Labourer to join the Capella Parks and Gardens team. The role involves maintaining parks and gardens, urban streetscapes and facilities, and operating lawn mowers, trailed equipment, and other plant machinery.

Applicants should have a Queensland C Class Provisional Licence (Manual), a General Construction Induction Card, and relevant licences or attainments.

Qualifications

• Queensland C Class Provisional Licence (Manual) is required.
• General Construction Induction Card is required.
• ACDC Statement of Attainment and Commercial Operators licence (or ability to obtain).
• Working in Proximity to Traffic modules (or ability to obtain).
• Demonstrated ability to undertake physical tasks.
• Good communication skills to respond to routine inquiries and record activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining parks, gardens, urban streetscapes and facilities in the Central Highlands Region.
• Operating lawn mowers, whipper snippers, tractors and other plant equipment.
• Carrying out physical activities to maintain Parks and Gardens facilities.
