Job summary

Eurobodalla Shire Council is seeking a permanent full-time Plant Operator/Labourer for the Parks and Gardens team based in Narooma. You will perform manual labour, operate tractors, slas hers and ride-on mowers, helping keep parks and public spaces safe and attractive for the community.

The role requires team collaboration and the ability to work independently, taking pride in your workmanship. The starting salary is $2,491.23 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.

Plant Operator/Labourer (Parks and Gardens)

This is a permanent full-time role in the Parks and Gardens team, based at Narooma. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the Shire’s parks and gardens in a presentable and safe condition for our community. You will complete manual labouring activities, as well as operate mobile items of plant and attachments. The starting salary for this position is $2,491.23 per fortnight, plus 12% superannuation.

Skills Required

If you are an experienced labourer who enjoys working outdoors and are confident operating tractors, slashers, ride on mowers and other small items of plant, read on! You will bring a good understanding of how to safely operate this type of equipment, and have experience in a parks environment. You may have previously worked on public ovals, community parks, or completed works near footpaths and in bushland. You thrive when working as part of a team, and do your bit to get the job done.
